(1) Packaging
Packaging is a very important link for textiles from the factory to the user. Textiles are fragile and fragile items. Their packaging can resist natural damage such as sunlight, wind, rain, and humidity, and at the same time prevent pollution and damage, protect the cleanliness and integrity of textiles, and facilitate storage, storage, and transportation.
At present, there are three main types of outer packaging materials for textiles, the hard ones are wooden boxes, the semi-rigid ones are cardboard boxes, and the soft ones are cloth bags and plastic woven cloth.
1) Wooden box packaging: safe and reliable, but more expensive, prone to insects, and tight materials, generally used to pack velvet and high-quality fabrics.
2) Carton packaging: strong pressure resistance, lower cost than wooden boxes, light weight and easy handling, and can be reused. The disadvantage is that it is easily damaged. It is used in light-weight, non-pressure-resistant textiles such as cheese, printed and dyed fabrics and the like.
3) Cotton and linen packaging: This kind of packaging saves cost, facilitates handling, and saves freight. It is generally used for cotton and its blended textiles. When packing, the textiles must be stacked neatly, lined with kraft paper or plastic paper, and pressed tightly with a baler.
4) Woven bag: This kind of packaging is light and cost saving. In recent years, it is mostly used for bobbin packaging. Suitable for short distance transportation.
(2) Custody
1) The temperature in the storage room should be appropriate. The temperature and humidity should be low rather than high. It is best to control it at 20°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 55%~65%. If there is no temperature control and humidity control, keep ventilation as much as possible. and dry.
2) In order to isolate the textiles from the ground and prevent the moisture on the ground from rising and damaging the materials, the bottom of the pile can be used to lift it up, which is conducive to ventilation, heat dissipation and moisture dissipation. height is generally
3) Warehouses should be protected against fire, chemicals and nearby gases, and at the same time protected against natural conditions such as wind, sun, and rain.
4) There must be a reasonable passage in the warehouse, which is conducive to ventilation on the one hand, and is conducive to the entry and exit of goods on the other hand.
(3) Transportation
Transportation must be safe. For transportation and loading, the packages should be stacked neatly on a plane, and side codes and vertical codes are not allowed. During transportation, there must be anti-rain, snow and sun-proof equipment. When loading, measures should be taken to prevent forklifts from breaking the packaging to prevent rough loading and unloading.
